About the role
You'll help keep a new outpatient psychiatric clinic running smoothly, supporting providers and nurses and making sure every patient feels welcome.
What you'll do
- Room patients, take vital signs and update patient records
- Support nurses and providers during visits and in-clinic treatments
- Help with scheduling, check-in and patient reminders
- Keep exam and treatment rooms clean, stocked and ready
- Assist with insurance verification and prior authorization paperwork
What we're looking for
- Medical assistant certification (CMA, RMA or CCMA) or equivalent experience
- Current BLS certification, or willingness to obtain it
- Reliable, organized and kind with patients
Nice to have
- Behavioral health or psychiatry clinic experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- EHR experience
